The Catoctin church of Christ is a family of Christians. Together we strive to serve as a light to the community of Thurmont, Maryland, and the surrounding areas. We have answered the call and have been baptized into the body of the one and only Savior, Jesus Christ. Together as a body of believers, we strive to serve God. We strive to treat our neighbors as we want to be treated and we support each other in good and bad times. We are not perfect people and have never claimed to be. In fact, the Bible says that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
Our worship services follow the pattern of worship as stated in the scriptures. Every first day of the week (Sunday), we worship God in prayer, congregational acappella singing, preaching from God's word, partaking of the Lord's Supper, and collection.
